My daughter and son in law spent their wedding night at this darling venue. Kathy, the host, made sure that their stay was amazing she even made sure the tired newlyweds had cookies when they arrived. We will be staying again and we are looking forward to planning a family reunion her in the near future.

What a wonderful getaway. This place was a blast! We brought our grandkids 12,12 and 11. They had so much fun running around the property, then Kathy said, "this Western town is yours! Enjoy!" The excitement in their eyes was priceless.

The Salon was over the top. Made game time and family time memorable. If you looking for a great place to get away and relax this is the place. The air conditioning in the main house is wonderful during these hot summer Texas days. The house is very spacious and more than plenty of room to sit around.

This place is better than the pictures! Kathy is an amazing host. So welcoming and informative on things to see and do in the surrounding area. Don't hesitate to book this property. You won't be disappointed!

It is absolutely the "COWBOY" experience at this scenic retreat just a short drive from Ft. Worth or Dallas. Quiet, blissful spot for a getaway. Conveniently located next to The Chisolm Trail Outdoor Museum which is currently hosting Santa Fe Days; touted as the largest celebration of American Indian Arts & Culture in North Texas (April 1-3, 2022). Situated near Lake Pat Cleburne, this venue provides a kid friendly atmosphere or the perfect place for couples to just relax. Pristine grounds and authentic old west memorabilia makes this place a great alternative to hotels, motels and homesharing sites.

Plenty of secure on site parking. Lighted outdoor area features a firepit, BBQs, swingset, rocking horses, horseshoe pit and cornhole game.

Perfect get away with the family and grand kids. Very welcoming atmosphere, great space indoors and outdoors. Beautiful grounds. So many memories made with games, outdoor fire pit, fishing in creek, morning coffee on front porch, going to the lake and so much more. If you want a family friendly place to stay, then this is the place for you. All ages will love the experience! Kathy is a gracious host and is so caring and concerned about her guests.

We got called a week before our wedding by Kathy and was told the venue was totally destroyed by the 100 yr winter storm. She worked diligently with us to come up with a solution. After a day to getting details worked out Kathy moved our date and kept us on the 21st, very important to us. She would have moved a mountain to keep us on the day we had set if she could have.

The wedding day was amazing and the entire location was set for us. We were able to enjoy this place with cabin for 3 days and would recommend Kathy anytime. She goes above and beyond. Her venue shows how much she cares. Thank you so much from the bottom of our heart.

It's adorable!! It's like you stepped back in time with the decor and atmosphere, but with all the modern conveniences!! Super clean, comfy and cozy! Kathy is awesome to work with too!!❤

Quaint but cute. For a smaller wedding, this is a wonderful location. Nuptual area is beautiful, but the area for the reception is fantastic.

I’m having a difficult time writing this review because there does not seem to be words to explain just how amazing my daughters wedding was. We decided to rent the venue for 48 hours so we could stay there and enjoy the entire weekend. It was AMAZING! There is something magical about this place. Kathy and her assistant Whitney went above and beyond for me. They even stepped in and helped me during the planning when I had some stresses with other vendors. We had a downpour of rain (even flooding) in the days coming up to the wedding, including the night before. And they still supported my decision to have the ceremony outside and they had a plan to move it in at the last minute if it came down to that. It was amazing staying at the cabin on the property for 2 days. We got to have our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there. We also got to enjoy the saloon the night before the wedding and just relax and have fun with family. The pictures are amazing. The DJ stayed late and we just danced in the barn for hours into the night celebrating my daughters wedding. I can not say enough about this amazing place. I’ve never been to a venue that offers so much and a huge part of that is Kathy and Whitney. I recommend Chisholm Trail Rustic Venue for any event! I hope to be able to rent it again in the future.

Highly recommend this venue! I love the western town vibe. It was perfect for my sunflower wedding. The owner is extremely professional and takes great care of the property. I could tell that she truly loves what she does. I highly recommend picking some of the vendors from the venue's list of recommended vendors. Those vendors are on that list for a reason!

This place was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We knew it was where we wanted to get married as soon as we stepped foot into the old west town. It just fit us so perfectly. We loved that we could decorate exactly how we wanted, and we could bring in our own food/beverages. Kathy was super sweet, and really worked with us. I definitely recommend this place!!

Everything about the venue was perfect!! The accommodations were the best fit for our wedding party and guests who stayed the night. Everyone loved the saloon, and the yard space. Being able to play cornhole and the kids enjoyed the play set and swings.
